Formatting
• Scholarly paper is to be 3 typewritten pages (double-spaced)
• Title page (this does not count in the 3-page limit), title, brief introduction, body of paper (use
headings), brief conclusion
• The use of references to support the discussion is required
o References need to be peer-reviewed journal articles and/or textbooks. (Do not use websites
and do not use class slides as references). Nursing literature needs to be retrieved using
CINAHL.
o Ensure that discussion is adequately and appropriately supported.
o Peer-reviewed articles that have been part of this course can be used, but additional
references are required.
o References should be from within the last 10 years and as current as available.
• Include a reference list at the end of your paper (this does not count in the 3-page limit)
• Use correct APA format (7th ed.) for font style and size, page numbers, headings, reference list, and in-
text citations
• Correct grammar and spelling are expected

1. Brief introduction.
2. Reflecting on who Janice is as an individual, describe how this illness might further impact her in one of
the following domains: social, spiritual or emotional. Use scholarly literature to support your discussion
throughout, at least 5 .
3. Identify and describe 1 evidence-based supportive intervention that would be most appropriate to
support Janice and help to improve her quality of life (be specific to who she is as a person and the
impact of the disease that you identified above). Use scholarly nursing literature to support your
discussion throughout.
4. Critically evaluate the following:
a. Throughout the writing process, how has your thinking changed and been pushed in new directions?
b. Based on this written assignment; how will your new knowledge impact your nursing practice? Be
specific.
5. Brief conclusion
