Directions
Taking relevant evidence from your eight primary, peer-reviewed research articles, identify the evidence-based recommendation. You must look at the evidence table from Project One and the research appraisals from the previous project preparation assignments as you progress through this assignment. Rubric criteria 1 through 7 cover step four above, while criteria 8 through 9 are associated with step five.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
1. Hierarchy of Evidence: Identify how many articles you have at each level for the hierarchy of evidence.
2. Evidence Level: Evaluate how the volume of articles in an evidence level impacts the strength (or weakness) of the literature review. Include the following in your response:
A. The articles’ distribution across levels, identifying the level having the most volume
B. The difference in the strength of evidence based on whether the majority of the articles have a higher or lower evidence level
3. Similarities: Discuss the similarities across all the studies with respect to settings, interventions, populations, or findings. Include support from the articles.
4. Differences: Identify the differences between all the studies with respect to settings, interventions, populations, or findings. Include support from the articles.
5. Application: Assess how the evidence can be applied to the population in the PICO question. Include support from the articles.
6. Strength: Evaluate the strength of the evidence. Include support from the articles. Consider the following in your response:
o Evidence level
o Article quality
7. Recommendation: Determine the evidence-based recommendation.
8. Stakeholders: Examine the potential stakeholders for the evidence-based recommendation.
9. Dissemination: Evaluate the dissemination differences between stakeholders and external audiences.
10. Primary, Peer-Reviewed Research Articles: Incorporate eight current (within the last five years) primary, peer-reviewed research articles that support claims.
What to Submit
Submit your complete Module Preparation Template. Your submission should be 2 to 3 pages that follow APA style standards. You will need to cite resources in a reference page in full APA format. The reference page is not included in the page count. Sources should be cited according to APA style.

Synthesize Research to Formulate a Recommendation
Using the evidence table from Project One and the research appraisals from the previous project preparation assignments, address the following:
1. Identify how many articles you have at each level for the hierarchy of evidence. Note that levels 1 and 5 are intentionally missing because they do not include primary research.

2. Evaluate how the volume of articles in an evidence level impacts the strength (or weakness) of the literature review, including the articles’ distribution across levels, identifying the level having the most volume and the difference in the strength of evidence based on whether the majority of the articles have a higher or lower evidence level.

3. Discuss the similarities across all the studies with respect to settings, interventions, populations, or findings.

4. Identify the differences between all the studies with respect to settings, interventions, populations, or findings.
[Insert text.]
5. Assess how the evidence can be applied to the population in the PICO question.
[Insert text.]
6. Evaluate the strength of the evidence, considering the evidence level and article quality.

7. Determine the evidence-based recommendation.

Communicate and Disseminate the Recommendation
Following the identification of an evidence-based recommendation, consider the following:
8. Examine the potential stakeholders for the evidence-based recommendation.

9. Evaluate the dissemination differences between stakeholders and external audiences.
