Identify topic of interest by asking older adults in your community what health related information/teaching them need to support quality, healthy living. You may see them at church, grocery store, senior centers, family or as neighbors. Use safety guidelines as you interact with this vulnerable population. Review the information presented on the CDC site related to health teaching and older adults and the module resources. Especially look at the material under “Develop & Test Materials” in left menu. Under that tab there is an area “Understanding your Audience.” See what is recommended for Older Adults.
