Guidelines for the Review Article
As per the submission requirements, the review article needs to include an abstract,
introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion sections. The review
article must also address recent issues and advancements in the field, with a particular
focus on subjects such as climate change, environmental law and politics, pollution
management, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, and COVID-19
environmental challenges in the UAE. Moreover, the total word count for the article
including abstract and references should not exceed 4000 words or if working alone, a
submission of 1000 words is required.
Objectives of the article:
Analyze recent research in environmental science to provide a thorough overview.
Evaluate the potential impact of the results on theory, policy, and future research
in a thorough manner.
The article should contain the following subheadings:
Title: Craft a Concise and Informative Title for the Review Paper
Abstract: Summarize the objectives, research methodologies, key findings, and
implications of the review article in 250-300 words.
Introduction:
The introductory section should include relevant background information about the
subject and its importance. Additionally, clearly outline the objectives or aims of the
review article.
Materials and Methods:
Explain the methods utilized for data extraction and analysis, including any statistical
approaches employed. Additionally ,the specific criteria used for inclusion and exclusion
during the selection process should be detailed.
Results:
Summarize the findings from the chosen research articles and review papers. Organize
the results chronologically based on the literature’s nature, and include relevant statistics,
figures, or tables to support the main conclusions.
Discussion:
Discuss the implications of the findings for theory, practice, policy, or future research.
Particularly consider any constraints or inconsistencies in existing literature and suggest
ways to overcome them.
Conclusion:
summarize the key discoveries and conclusions of the review paper, emphasizing their
importance and implications for the field. Furthermore, suggest directions for future
research.
References:
• Include a list of all references cited in the review article, following a consistent
APA citation style
• Ensure that all references are from reputable sources and are no older than 2021.
